- Laivasähkötyö got the electrical work done with the sulphur washing system,
which was delivered by Wärtsilä Diesel, onboard Containership VII during the
docking at Turku Repair Yard in Naantali.
With the installed washer, the vessel will meet the future sulphur dioxide
emission (SOX) requirements in the SECA area.
Defence contracts
We design and build electrical systems and communication systems for the Finnish army and navy. In these projects, it is essential to understand and master the specific defence requirements and standards, as they dictate the working methods and materials to be used.
For the army, we supply various equipment and material and perform system installations for mobile units, such as armoured vehicles or mobile equipment shelters. In addition, we provide different installation and systems integration services relating to communication and command systems.
For the navy, we provide renovation, repair, and maintenance services for electrical and communication systems. In connection with regular services, we service, repair, or change the electric motors and generators on board. In addition, we provide installation services for naval signalling, weapons, and surveillance systems.
We also manufacture military standard cables for the use of the Defence Forces. We have obtained the necessary special tools and trained our personnel for the making of these military cables and connectors.
