2011-08-27: Laivasähkötyö got the electrical work done with the sulphur washing system,
which was delivered by Wärtsilä Diesel, onboard Containership VII during the
docking at Turku Repair Yard in Naantali.

With the installed washer, the vessel will meet the future sulphur dioxide
emission (SOX) requirements in the SECA area.

LST is one of the parent companies of a newly established company, 3D Wind Service Oy (3DWS), based in Turku. 3DWS specialises in the maintenance, installation and repair service of wind turbines, as well as providing its customers with training in the maintenance and servicing of wind turbines.

Headquartered in the LST Group’s premises in Rautatehtaankatu, 3DWS will be employing a number of the Group’s technicians, currently undergoing further training for a period of three months.

2011-01-19: Jukka Janka-Murros has announced his resignation as Managing Director and the sale of his entire shareholding in Turun Sähköpalvelu Oy.

The new shareholders are Tomi Oksanen and Esa Lindell. Turun Sähköpalvelu Oy will remain part of the LST Group, which now holds a 51% stake in the company.

Tomi Oksanen has been appointed as Turun Sähköpalvelu Oy’s new Managing Director as of 19 January 2011.
2010-11-25: The world's largest passenger cruise ship the MS Allure of the Seas was completed and departed on 2010-10-29 from STX's Turku shipyard towards the Caribbean.

Laivasähkötyö Ltd. made noteworthy installation work on the Allure. The ship's main switchboard rooms were totally delivered from Laivasähkötyö Ltd.

Electrification work was made on following areas: Azipod rooms, engine casing, laundry facilities, crew staircases, Fitness and Spa, solarium, Mantaray ascending / descending restaurant, Central Park restaurant facilities, Aqua Theatre technology installation and data network connections and measurements.

In addition, a wide range of deployment work was done.

2009-03-19: Laivasähkötyö Oy has begun work on the communications console systems for three new minelayers of the Finnish Navy.

The consoles will be delivered and installed at Intermar’s shipyard in Italy, and the first installation is scheduled for 2009.

The other two system installations will be carried out in 2010 and 2011.
2008-01-30: Laivasähkötyö Oy and Aker Yards have signed a three-year contract on the delivery of cable trays, cable lead-throughs and steel structures for electrical mounting for vessels built by Aker Yards.
2007-12-03: On 9 November 2007, Laivasähkötyö Oy and Finland´s leading freight and passenger carrier, VR Ltd, signed a contract for the installation of data outlets in some 250 railway carriages. The work will be carried out at the VR train debot in Turku.

The value of Laivasähkötyö Oy´s backlog of orders from the Aker Yards shipyards in Finland amounted to nearly EUR 10 million in November 2007. These orders consist of electrical installations for engine rooms, main stairs, restaurant facilities, and cabin areas in a number of vessels due to be built in 2008-2010.
2006-11-16: Laivasähkötyö Oy has signed a turnkey delivery with Aker Yards concerning the main switchboard room of the Genesis ship. The ship will be built in Turku and it will be delivered in autumn 2009.
2006-10-19: Laivasähkötyö Oy has signed a contract with Piikkiö Works Oy concerning the electrification of the cabin area of Tallink Galaxy II.

The order will cover an area of 944 cabins. The vessel will be constructed in the shipyard of AY in Helsinki and it will be delivered in spring 2008.
