- Laivasähkötyö got the electrical work done with the sulphur washing system,
which was delivered by Wärtsilä Diesel, onboard Containership VII during the
docking at Turku Repair Yard in Naantali.
With the installed washer, the vessel will meet the future sulphur dioxide
emission (SOX) requirements in the SECA area.

Laivasähkötyö Oy performs electrical engineering and installations of ships, railway carriages, and industrial facilities.
We have decades of experience in planning and implementing various electrification jobs for newbuilt ships, naval vessels, and small crafts as well as providing electrical repair and maintenance services for them in both Finland and abroad.
For the railways, we offer renovation and alteration projects and regular service check-ups. For the Finnish Defence Forces, we deliver turnkey messaging systems. For industrial companies, we sell various equipment relating to electrical drives, such as electric motors and frequency converters.
We manufacture a range of products - such as cable trays, lighting elements, and metal components - in China in co-operation with our Finnish partner operating in China. We can also provide other mass produced items to our customer's needs.
Laivasähkötyö Oy is the oldest company in the LST Group. It was established in 1962 and it employs 95 persons.
